The Accuri 2

 

100 Percent has proven to be not only be a player but now a leader in the goggle world since the re-launch of the brand in 2015. The original Accuri has won championships across the world in Supercross, Motocross, Rally, Off-Road, and Mtb, so when we heard there was an all new Accuri 2 we were worried that they were trying to reinvent the wheel.

The first thing you will notice with the Accuri 2 is much like the original Accuri, the look of goggle is sleek and clean with function built into the fashion. Some of the changes on the Accuri 2 are the Anti-fog coated polycarbonate lens, 45mm wide silicone strap, Ultra-thick triple layer face foam to retain sweat for heavy perspiration, a 9 point lens retention system that secures lens in frame and the biggest change of all is improved fitment and seal with an increased field of view. 

Once I put the goggle on I could instantly tell the difference in the seal around my face. The original Accuri was used by race winners because of it’s comfort and seal, but ultimately it was not intended for that level of racer so with Accuri 2 they wanted to make a “non outrigger” goggle that performs for the newbie and even a championship rider in all two wheel sectors. The new lens seems to have better clarity and transition in shadows, but I can say the best improvement on the Accuri 2 is the new triple layer foam. It was added comfort and sweat retention.

In the Box

 

When opening the box of the mirrored Lens models it comes with a extra clear lens and sublimated microfiber bag and the clear Lens models will just get a sublimated microfiber bag.

The Verdict 

So, should you ditch your Accuri and get the new Accuri 2? In my opinion yes you should it’s better in all areas.
