100% Racecraft 2

100% Racecraft 2

For years the 100% Racecraft was the top-of-the-line goggle for the team at 100% but after 5 plus years there was time for a change to bring the 100% goggle to be the leader in the class. We were waiting for an updated version of the Racecraft and then out came the Armega which had many people in a pickle because they didn’t want to pay the premium price for the Armega. The consumers who loved the Racecraft felt like they were robbed without having a new Racecraft model and were forced to have to buy a more expensive goggle, but it didn’t take long for 100% to give those who loved the original Racecraft something to be stoked about. It’s an all-new design that has addressed complaints from not only champions but also the consumers. 100% has been known for great design and a look that is forward thinking compared to its competitors.

The Racecraft 2’s new and improved look is obvious but it’s the below details that set it apart from the original Racecraft.

  • Improved fitment and seal with increased field of view

  • Dual injected, wide outriggers for a balanced fit

  • Supports triple post tear-offs for secure fitment

  • Ultra-thick triple layer face foam soaks up sweat

  • 45mm wide silicone coated strap for maximum grip

  • 9-point lens retention system secures lens in frame

  • Slash logo embellishment detail

  • Anti-fog coated polycarbonate lens for clear vision

  • Removable nose guard deflects roost & debris

  • Pure molding eliminates sewing for a seamless strap

  • Racecraft 2/Accuri 2/Strata 2 utilize same lens and tear-offs

The added value of the Racecraft 2 goes farther then just the look when you open the box there  is a Mirrored Lens, stack of standard tear-offs, extra clear lens and sublimated microfiber bag. When you get a Clear Lens model you will geta  stack of standard tear-offs and sublimated microfiber bag

The Verdict

The original Racecraft had the look dialed and worked well but was lacking a few things to make it a leader as a high-performance goggle compared to the likes of the Oakley Airbreak and Scott Prospect.  After putting 15+ hours on the Racecraft 2 I can say that the details and changes were not just for fashion. The 2021 Racecraft 2 doesn’t just look good it performs better in all areas. Let’s start with the foam. The all-new foam design has given the goggle a much better seal all the way around my face fixing the problem where sand and dust could possibly make it into the goggle when being roosted. Another benefit of the new dual layer foam designed improved the goggles overall with a better overall comfort and when going deep into motos the sweat retention is much more improved when riding long motos or in extreme heat. Finally the newly refined frame design fits in a variety of helmets much better. Smaller helmets and faces had a hard time with the original Racecraft but the all new sleeker designer is fits a broader range of helmets and faces.
